What a difference...

The over loaded cart

I will admit,
 I did not take the picture of the cart tipping up, my friend did and she posted it on face book.  I borrowed it:)
They often load them so full but I have never seen one tip.  This happened outside her compound just around the corner from here.

Smog, smog go away!

Come again some other day!!!!  No, No, No I don't really mean that.
As most of the world knows, China has been enveloped in smog again for the past several days.
Here are three shots:

Just looking down my street in the compound.

Looking out my bedroom window.

Rain drops on the front step.

I took these pictures today to show you what 517 on the AQI Index actually looks like at our home.  You can click on the link and go to the page.  The monitoring equipment is on the US Embassy here in Beijing.

The hope is that the rain they have forecast for tonight, along with the wind will clear the air.  I will take more pictures tomorrow.  We shall see.  Click here to check the wind anywhere in the world.  Very accurate according to a friend of mine.  This is very cool. This link is to an animated earth showing the current wind pattern.  You can click on the globe and move it to see the other side of the earth.  

Enough for now, we will see what the weather brings.
