Couch companions

Most evenings you will find us here.

There is a large, L shaped couch in what we call the family room.  Most evenings you will find me at one end of the couch, Olivia at the other and various arrangements of  cats in between.  Mike usually sits in the brown chair,  However, tonight he is in South Carolina, the brown chair is up for grabs.  The better thing  about being here is that it is 55 degrees here and 36 degrees there.  Surely the smog is not there in SC and my SC friends are not here.  Back to the large couch......

We were moving around a bit before taking this shot.....the cats were disturbed...

Here, undisturbed.

Here is the whole couch.  It will hold a slew of people, come visit.  I might even clear off my pile o junk from the coffee table.  Sewing project, Chinese language books, quilting books.......A horizontal surface, what else can I say?

You will notice my hair is a bit long.  I have decided to let it grow.  Haircuts range in price from very inexpensive to very expensive.....I have not searched out a moderate place and just can't be bothered.  Mike says I am going "native".  Not really though, I don't intend to dye it.  Even the men here are vain and dye their hair to keep it that lovely Asian black.  The amusing thing about it is I went to a meeting of INN last Monday and won a certificate for a hair salon!

Mikes chair:(

On another note I just finished reading this book tonight.  It is young adult fiction, I took it out from the High School library.  A good read, recommended by the librarian as well.
Click on the link to Amazon and see what it is about.  Be warned the cover they have is different.

Another good read I just finished this week.  Mike actually purchased it before we left the states, I got it at the school library.  Interesting.

Finished this one last week.  About the Cultural Revolution here in China.

With that,
Love, fondly, sincerely,
