Really, the first day of Spring?

One last gasp.
Winter did not wish to release it's hold on Beijing.
March 20, 2013, Vernal Equinox.
Really?  Here is what we awoke to yesterday.  Absolutely beautiful.  The largest snowfall of the season.  Which season we are talking about I am not sure.
This first picture is what I saw when I first looked out the window at 6:20 am.
The mist is steam, it was already beginning to melt.

The sun rising.

I just love this tree, weighted down with the tall skinny one behind, just tilting a little.

 The kiss of the sun.

Wires coated with snow.

Look at the beautiful sky!

Off our front balcony.

Heading out of the compound, the bamboo cannot stand up in the snow.

A balancing act.

White. Blue. Sun.

Buses pulling out of the compound for Olivia's school.

Snow!

A frosted tree.  This snow was so amazing, clinging to everything.

My friends house.  She was giving me a ride to school, in that snow covered van.
More to come, took loads of shots at the school too.
The snow was brilliant, the sky was brilliant, and it was all melted by 3:00.

Love, fondly, sincerely,
zaijian,
Ramona
