Just Some Food at Metro

I went to a store today with my friend Tracy.  It is called Metro, you have to get a card to shop there.  The card is free and all you have to give is your name.  Not sure why you need the card......?

It carries a lot of imported products and some things come in very large sizes yet I could buy single cans of evaporated milk.  Tracy and I went in to look around and came out with lighter wallets.  I found Snickers bars at a very good price:)  We did not, however come home with this gallon jar of sliced Jellyfish, no matter how enticing it was.

Nor did the Chicken Paws climb into our cart.
Same here......no Chicken and Gristle Kebobs.  We have however, eaten these at the meal we had at Olivia's school a few weeks ago.  Perhaps, chewing on all that gristle and cartilage will help the cartilage in my knees??
These Delicious Roast Fish Fillets looked more like very flat ruffled potato chips than fish......probably tasted more like fish than potato chips though.
The giant bag of dried Anchovies was left for someone else.

The meat hanging in the walk in cooler looked a bit challenging.  Not sure how to wrangle it into the cart.  We do have a barbecue here in the yard big enough to cook it on if we only knew how:)  I venture these are sides of pig.
This picture does not do this item justice...this is a black skin chicken.....head still present.  Tracy said her driver told her they are very nutritious and good for pregnant women as they have lots of iron.  I think she could eat it if she didn't have morning sickness all day.......
Little crabs all tied up waiting to go home with you, you, not me:)
Just in case you were wondering.....

Love, fondly, sincerely,
zaijian,
Ramona
